Unboxing the Trajan 125 Band Saw

Upon unboxing the Trajan 125, you will find the following items:

– Trajan 125 band saw
– A set of rubber feet (for installation on the bottom of the machine)
– A parts stop (for cutting multiple parts to the same length rapidly)

Setting Up the Trajan 125 Band Saw

Before you start using your Trajan 125, follow these steps to set up the machine:

Adjust the trigger handle: Use a 3mm Allen key to rotate the handle to the upper position and tighten it down at the stop. The trigger handle comes in the downward position for safe shipment.

Turn on the motor breaker
: Plug in the machine and press the green button to turn on the motor breaker. If you want to turn the motor off, press the red button.

Adjust the blade speed
: The Trajan 125 and 150 series machines have a variable speed motor with settings from 1 to 6, allowing you to tackle different applications by adjusting the blade speed.

Guide Arm Adjustment

The guide arm on the Trajan 125 can be adjusted to accommodate different material sizes. Slide the guide arm in or out, depending on the size of the material being cut. This helps to achieve more accurate cuts for both small and large diameter materials.

Miter Scale Functionality

Both the Trajan 125 and 150 series machines feature a large miter scale with 0 to 60-degree increments. This allows for precise angle cuts without sacrificing workspace. The miter scale operates on a head swivel, enabling you to swivel the head without having to swivel the material when cutting angles.

Ready to Start Cutting with the Trajan 125 Band Saw

With the proper setup, your Trajan 125 band saw is now ready to tackle your cutting projects. This portable and versatile tool is a great addition to any workshop, providing accurate and efficient cuts for various applications.
